Local pickup - Local pickup is available in Dutton or London, Ontario. Once your order is ready for pickup, you will receive an email to arrange date/time to collect your items. London pick up location is in White Oaks.
Lettermail - Lettermail rate of $5.00 is available (within Canada) for orders that are $50 or less before discounts. By choosing lettermail shipping, you agree that if a package is lost or stolen, The Old Island will not be responsible for refunding or replacing items.
Canada tracked shipping - We ship through Canada Post (within Canada) at a flat rate of $15 Ontario wide and $17 to the rest of Canada. All items will be tracked and insured up to $100. If you would like to purchase additional insurance for your order, please email email@example.com.
Free shipping - Any orders over $200 after discounts are eligible for free shipping.
Add on orders are allowed as long as you have not received a shipping notification for your first order. Use code COMBINE to remove shipping charges from subsequent orders. Please note previous order number in the notes section of the cart. Shipping MUST be paid on the first order. If another discount code is being used on add on orders, please note in the cart that you would like to combine, choose the shipping options available and shipping will be refunded once you've check out.
Items noted Ready to Ship (RTS) in the product description will be mailed or ready for pickup 3-5 business days after purchase is completed.
Made to order items (most of our items) will be mailed or ready for pickup within 4 weeks after purchase is completed. For current turnaround time please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Made to Order
The majority of our items are made to order. You select the print, size and any additions (pockets, hood, etc.). Due to the nature of these customizable options, over selling of a print is possible. We will keep the options updated as much as possible to avoid disappointments. If we run short of a print you've ordered, we will contact you ASAP to let you know your available options (including order cancellation/refund).
Cancellations and Refunds/Exchanges
Once placed, orders are not able to be cancelled (unless due to print oversell). If you've made an error on your order, please send an email ASAP to email@example.com.
As most items are made to order, refunds and exchanges are not allowed. If an item is defective please email within 7 business days of receiving your order and we will arrange for the item to be exchanged.
As all our items are handmade, please note that pattern placement on each item will vary. As well, the colour of the prints may appear differently on your computer screen than the actual fabric. Solid coordinates will vary. If you'd like to request a colour, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us through the Facebook/Instagram page.
If a package is returned or refused by the recipient, we will only resend it at the customer's expense.
Only 1 coupon code is allowed per purchase (unless explicitly stated otherwise). Coupon codes must be applied at checkout in order to qualify.
